Bed and Breakfast in the Belluno Dolomites
The age-old Dolomites “tabià” gets its name from the reconstruction of the original ‘tabià’ located throughout the Comelico Valley. The haylofts or ‘tabià’ were used by our ancestors to preserve the freshly cut grass , fore it stands in an extremely sunny position.
We have decided to refurbish and open the B&B Antico Tabià Dolomitico so our guests can admire this enchanting location that overlooks the valley below while enjoying a 360° scenic view of the Comelico Dolomites.
The structure also has a particular charm due to its isolated position from the rest of the houses thus allowing our guests a complete sense of peacefulness and tranquillity, in close contact with nature. It is in fact quite common to see deer, roe deer, hares and squirrels in the surrounding meadows.
This age-old hayloft B&B in the Dolomites is located about 500metres from the town centre of Costalissoio, hamlet of Santo Stefano and 3 km from the hamlet Costalta that can be reached on foot or by bike, along a panoramic road with amazing views over the valley and the surrounding dominating mountains.
